San Antone

Well, i am here. The water in the park in frozen, so am working off my tank in the RV, that was 3/4 full, thank heaven, but, old, so will boil it b4 using :) I LOVE the electric mattress pad, it is saving me right now! Have that thing cranked up to 16 and Luci is just basking in the warmth, all hunkered down, can't even see her. The weather is supposed to be back to normal by Sunday. I certainly hope so! The news said that this is the coldest for the longest period, 8 days since 1885!!! Am i lucky or what? Got a nice pull thru space right near the shower, but can't use it due to NO water.
Hey, you all Take Care & God Bless AND stay warm!!!

  1. We can't change the weather, so we all have to do the best we can to stay warm and safe.

  2. ...loree, you certainly can't go back home and say it was everything you thought it would be - laying in the sun all day reading and hunting for shells - imagine how boring that would of been - ha ha - love ya!

  3. It sucks to be in Texas right now, but it's not much better in Mississippi either. :(

  4. There are a lot of us like you, hoping the forecast is right and the warmer temps are right around the corner. Haven't been to San Antonio in a few years but really enjoyed it when we were there. Lots of great restaurants and things to see.

  5. I wonder how many of we RV'ers are going to end up in repair shops over the next few days & weeks with broken water pipes, etc. IF we get above freezing today & pipes begin to thaw I guess we'll find out. Kind of like the idea of that electric mattress thingy. Wonder if it's better to have the heat underneath as opposed to on top like an electrical blanket.
