Happenings in Tehachapi

At the Opening of the Culinary Studio they had all kinds of 'tidbits', a tower of mozzarella balls and little tomatoes, the most marvelous teriyaki chicken drumsticks, and a tower of tiny cupcakes and truffles, with huge strawberries dipped in chocolate. They have all kinds of room for classes, huge ovens and frig, lovely little rest room with painted flowers on the walls. All of the fixtures were current and up-to-date. It was just a really neat little business opening!!

This is my friend Lorri on the left. So wanted a picture of the curator of the Errea House as she was all done up in Red Lady Regalia, she had on leopard print clogs too... and was so cute! But did not know how to get just her picture. So took a pic of the both of them, Although not a bad thing to have a picture of my friend too! :)
And i love to see these old stitchery pictures from long ago.

This Kitchen was the bomb!
Yesterday we went to Downtown Tehachapi, saw the museum and Errea House, a historical house in the town, It was very interesting, the people in those places are always so knowledgeable of the place where they are hosting.
We also went to Happy Hour at Domingos, tequila!!!, But that is another story :) good drinks, food and nice people.
Today we went to the opening of the Tehachapi Culinary Studio, which is going to be a great asset to the community. They have an array of offerings in classes, catering and cakes. They had lots of yummy tidbits for people that showed up.
Today is blowing and cold, but all the snow is gone off the local mountains. Higher temps are predicted for following days. Highway cameras show bare roads, so i am off tomorrow!!! Plan to take a couple days getting back to Bend.
Take Care and God Bless All!!
