Painting!

Fields near McMinnville, liked the different colors & clouds and it was raining.
The distressing does not show up too well here, and i did not do ALOT of it. Going to the shops here in town, they really are heavy on the distressing...wanted a "pop" of my favorite color here and there.
The little dresser with Pottery Barn handles... it had been painted green and blue then a sort of whitewash and the blue showed thru, so hope i got all of that covered, did not distress this.
I am going for the flea market, shabby chic look, furnishing with 2nd hand things. Getting some good prices too on things, the little chair was only $10 at a store in Newburg. Love to look for things like that. Old linens, quilts, dresser scarfs, table cloths from the 50's.
I go sign papers on Monday!!!
Take Care all and God Bless
My niece is up from California with that cute baby, so hopefully will have some new pics of cute little Chloe and her family :)

  3. Love, love love your furniture! You and I have the same taste, it seems, only my house doesn't reflect it! I really should work on that, shouldn't I?

  4. I love the distressing - I think it's just enough. The dresser is dynamite - I can see that in almost any room. Very cool. How fun!
Hope the signing goes well. :)
