Getting Close

To getting it all done... still have alot of 'craft' stuff left, and bookcases to transfer, got all the books here previously. The family came today and we got the stoves switched out, (of course each stove was hooked up differently, fortunately, my brother is a whiz at re-doing things to fit!!) have my frig in the garage. Couch is in the living room..all is well with the world.
Been having fits with a back problem, due to the continual lifting and being on my feet all day long, i am sure, yes, i know if i would but loose weight, it would not be so bad. Last night i went to bed like at 6pm on the heating pad, i am sure i am parboiled by now!!! But got up this morning and the ache was gone, had put some ice on it prior to that, about midnight woke in a total sweat, well, DUH, laying on a hot pad in the middle of the summer will do that, right? Ha! Today seems alot better, but have been mostly watching and directing, which i must say i am fairly good at :)
So, i am getting there and am really close to being done with this, moving cleaning scrubbing, it is amazing the dust and dirt after 7 years in one place......much to my chagrin.....

  1. I don't care how meticulous you are, all it takes is a move to find the dust bunnies! among other stuff. take care of your back, you will need it in the future. Hope things slow down soon so you can enjoy your new digs. I'm still thinking of that gorgeous floor!

  2. Good for you for being the director today. Seems you have been working awfully hard lately. Wonder what we will find when we eventually move...we've been in the same house since 1976!!

  3. Moving is good for the soul (the cleaning out of stuff) but really hard on the body. Glad you took it easier today on yourself. You're getting close to done. Then you need to celebrate.

  4. I agree with Jim and Sandie about good for the soul and hard on the body. You will deserve some put your feet up and relax time soon. Take care of yourself and enjoy your new home.
