In Yucaipa, CA

My Sister-In-Law and i went to Calif to see her grandbaby, my grand-niece!!!  Drove 16 1/2 hrs to get here, whew, it was a LONG drive and it kicked both our butts, but only have so much time and did not want to spend most of it traveling, wanted 2 full days with the little family!!  This is Mt Shasta in the morning light.  We left at 3:30am!!  By now u should know how i feel about getting up early :)  HA!! But we wanted to get there early enough to not bother Sacia,  my niece, as she had to go to work the next day, she is a 1st grade teacher....

AND here is little Chloe, Isn't she the most darling, little thing??? We are having a great time, got to watch baby for most of the day today, then go watch her have  pictures taken in her Halloween costume, she is a lady-bug!!! and so darn cute, pictures to follow...
Here is a Calif flower, bird of paradise, can't put a blog out w/o the flower picture :)

Here is mommy and baby, both so happy, it is really GOOD thing to see!

It is in the 90's here, and i showed up with WOOL socks on!

Take Care All, safe travels and God Bless

  2. Aw, Chloe looks adorable! I've been to Yucaipa--we used to live in Riverside, CA. Hard to believe it's still so hot there, although I remember it didn't usually cool down until around Halloween.

  4. Nice to have someone to travel with if you have to do that I-5 thing. OF course, you can't beat seeing Shasta looking so gorgeous. I see 'the mountain' often on my trip to town from the high point at Doak mountain on 140.

  7. Mount Shasta was certainly looking fine but no finer than that beautiful mother and daughter! Lucky you to get to see them. Well worth the drive me thinks.
