Got my 1st Xmas catalog today.... and i do love the Sundance catalog. Robt Redford always has a heartfelt little editorial in them. Like to look and dream. Have always loved getting these and dreaming, even as a little girl, if i had the money or i was that size.... the Sears Christmas Toybook, ahhhh. Supplies many hours of warm, homey memories.
Thank goodness I don't get any catalogs anymore. But I remember as a child, I used to take the Sears and Wards catalogs and spend all my Monopoly money on everything I could dream of wanting.
I like to look at the LL Bean catalog. It sells happiness and elusive, perfect lives lived on hardwood floors and in merino wool. Everyone plays outdoors in the snow, and no one shovels the driveway.
