I Know!

I know, i know, more stupid fog pictures, but i DO really like them. just look at all the little pieces that have just frozen there. And the background all white with a touch of the red berry like things. Have pics of those too! Ha!
We are all overcast and cold and the heat is coming on like every five minutes, hmmmm.
Been beading. I make little crystal dangly things to hang from the rear view mirror and my niece wanted one.  While looking thru all the beads i have come across quite a few projects that i stuffed in the box at different times, on spending sprees, never completed them and now have no idea what my original intent was...hmmmm.
Diana Galbadon came out with a new book, "the Scottish Prisoner" and have been up late nites reading that.  Don't know if any of you read her, but let me tell you they are a great read.  this is not one of the 'normal' books which are normally over a 1000 pages long, She comes out with one about every two years. We have to wait forever for a new segment. This one goes back and elaborates on a specific period of time.  She has done this a number of times with novellas and shorter books, this one is only about 500 pages, so much shorter.  They are time travel/historical about Jamie from the 1700's and Claire from around 1990's.  The author is very detailed in descriptions of time and place.  You just know everything about the characters and the time she is in.  I DO love the books and being immersed in all their lives and time.
Have a good Monday everyone!

  3. LOVE Jamie. My perfect man and probably every other woman's too. Hope Gabaldon is actually married to him, that would be sweet. Is this one also about Jamie and Claire??

  4. I love pictures of the frost but I am so glad that we aren't having to put up with the cold. Hope your finally decide what you will make with the beads.

We were in Tombstone back in January 2005, like you said very touristy but we had fun and enjoyed ourselves. It was so cold when we were there we had our mittens and toques on while we watched the gunfight show at the OK Coral.

  5. I also like your frost and fog pictures... I haven't heard of Diana Galbadon ... I'm going to check them out... sounds like my kind of book.

I did the same with Jean Auel and her series... couldn't wait for her next book. I love it when an author makes the characters alive...
