Cline Falls

Went for a lovely little walk at Cline Falls after morning doctor appt. It was like Spring out, Luci loved sniffing around everything. There was ice rim on the grass in places. It was so pretty and we had the whole place to ourselves, which is rare.
There were a pair of swans there, and one of them came right up to me all fluffed out, looked dangerous, think they were telling me no further. Isn't it too early for nesting? or eggs? maybe just territorial, AND my camera ran out of juice right at that time!!!  OMG the perfect picture and no camera, shows me i should  have BOTH of them with me. I was SO bummed!!
I am going to go back and see what i can see, it is a great little place to walk and i can just go around it 2-3 times. I am getting so much better and am not huffing and puffing over any little distance i have to go. So proud of that tiny accomplishment and will keep pushing the envelope...
I love, love, love these old trees. This one was pretty much dead. BUT am sure it has a story to tell. What was happening when all of these weird limbs formed?
Take Care All!!

  3. Love the pictures. And I'm really proud of you for all the walking you're doing. I really need to increase my walking time but I have always hated to walk. And our girls are not very good about walking either. Scooter has to smell every blade of grass and Skitz just wants to go home.

  5. You just never have your camera with you when you need it, do you? That's about the way it is with us most of the time. We saw a great photo op today, and didn't get it, darn!! Love your photos today, especially the gnarly old tree.

  6. Great photos of Cline Falls, Loree. I think you told me that the falls themselves are not visible from the park area?
