Yep that is what these are!! Made by yours truly :) for the shower on Sunday ..
We have had LOTS of wind and some rain, in the 40's, grey leaden skies. yeah Spring!
Take Care & God Bless ALL!!!
Loree, I know you said you made the burp cloths from diapers, but would you mind sharing more details. They look very cute and perfect for a baby shower!
Hi carol! i just get the pre-folded diapers, then decide how much i want to cover of the inside "stuffed" part, i cut flannel 5" X i think 18" just iron the edges under about 1/4 " then sew onto the middle. 1st time i did these we did use just cotton material, but i wanted the softer flannel. I have seen a pattern on other quilting websites where they use a pattern cut out of a cereal box to lay the material on, then iron the flannel over the cardboard 'pattern' don't know what this would accomplish really, maybe sharper edges? seemed silly to me. but i tend to 'wing it' at times, and things don't quite work out, but the way i did it worked out well. :)
You cannot have too many burp cloths unless you want to do laundry really often. And these are so colorful. I used old white diapers and they worked but not near as much fun.
