Blue, Clear Sky

Nothing happening here, just trying to stay warm!! Managed to get the squishable cardboard into the recycle bin and out of the garage!  Why do you just open the door to the garage from the house and just give a fling, when you don't want to go out to the garbage can??? That leaves a mess for later....  :(  Seemed ok at the time  :)   No heat out there, so that is all i did, then hurried in to the warmth, TV and a good book.

I want to take time to wish Blessings to people in my life who are having adversity and illness in theirs.  I have been there,  to a degree. It is sad, heart wretching and unending.

ECC:  3:1-8
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die:
a time to plant,
and a time to pluck up that which is planted:
A time to kill, and a time to heal:
a  time to break down, and a time to build up:
A time to weep, and a time to laugh:
a time to mourn, and a time to dance:
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together:
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing:
A time to seek, and a time to lose:
a time to keep, and a time to cast away:
A time to rend, and a time to sew:
 a time to keep silence, and a time to speak:
A time to love, and a time to hate:
a time for war, and a time for peace.

  1. This has always been a favorite
    of mine. So many issues and feelings
    in one book of the Bible. To believe
    gives us great comfort.

  2. Thank you for you kind hearted concerns, Loree. I do like that one, too! Life is indeed a journey, and like every journey, it has it's ups and downs and curvy sections. Thankfully God gives us angels along our way to help us through the rough spots. We believe that angels come in lots of different forms, shapes and sizes. For us, dogs have always been visible angels in our lives. I know you will understand that thought. Thanks for sharing your love and concern.

  3. Love this Loree... I'm not a religious person but I do believe...

    One of my favorite hymns is a Hymn of Promise... love listening and reading the words ~ Well? I'll just post the lyrics.. I would imagine you know this but after the birth of little Charlie ~ I've just been so grateful... hope you don't mind!

    Hymn of Promise, In the Bulb there is a Flower
    Written by Natalie Allyn Wakeley Sleeth

    In the bulb there is a flower; in the seed, an apple tree;
    In cocoons, a hidden promise: butterflies will soon be free!
    In the cold and snow of winter there’s a spring that waits to be,
    Unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.

    There’s a song in every silence, seeking word and melody;
    There’s a dawn in every darkness, bringing hope to you and me.
    From the past will come the future; what it holds, a mystery,
    Unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.

    In our end is our beginning; in our time, infinity;
    In our doubt there is believing; in our life, eternity,
    In our death, a resurrection; at the last, a victory,
    Unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.

  4. I personally have found some of the most caring people I have ever met (even those I haven't met in person)are those I know thru blogging. Very caring words from you Lori and we do know many who are going thru rough times. So glad we are all here for each other.

  5. Very nice sentiment. Hope it warms up soon for you. That's the real problem with winter isn't it.
