Got a new printer, HP 7520 PhotoSmart.. took forever to figure out how to get it set up, the ink cartridges were not showing they were, in fact, IN.... but turned off the printer, waited, turned it back on and it came back up as them being there and all was ok and i was off and running... even got it initialized to remote printing, so can print while i am just sitting in my chair, don't even have to get up!!! Ain't life grand??? It is an all in one, which i have been wanting forever..so i can scan in old photos to do an album. Also wanted to send a relative some pictures via e-mail. Copies too. Has a fax, BUT i don't have a land line, so i don't think that will ever work, but that is ok.... I never have a need for that in most cases.... Went with HP becuz that is what i have always had, and my old printer did really good pictures, which is what i want, if i had LOTS of ink :)

ReplyDeleteWe don't have a fax line either. So few people who buy small printers do anymore I wonder why the still include fax when you can scan and email.

ReplyDeleteI had an HP printer a few years ago that I could never get to work. I think most printers (and a lot of other things) manufactured in the last few years put way more features on them than people need, and they are harder to set up and to use. Good luck with the new HP.
ReplyDeleteHooray for a new printer! While I don't know anyone who would still find having a fax useful, I'm sure anyone will be happy with all its other features. Mind if I ask how it is with ink? I'm thinking of replacing mine. -Shelley @ Rapid Refill
