Salmon Tonight!!


Love, love, love salmon!!  Wild Alaska salmon!!!  I know there are better ways to cook it, or maybe not better but healthier..but if i am going to have something i love, it is going to be cooked the way i like it!!  In butter...with lemon....slowly.. with mashed potatoes...not like i eat very much of it in any case  :)

  1. Lucky you. Love salmon, hubby hates it. Too expensive to order off the menu when I go out to eat. Perhaps we should have hotdogs in one pan, and salmon in the other. Yes, that is exactly what I'm going to do!!! Thanks!!

  2. I love salmon, Dave doesn't, so I cook it for me and make him a rib-eye steak. Yours looks yummy!

  3. I never liked salmon till I tasted fresh Copper River salmon from Alaska. Incredibly sweet and mild and fresh. Yum. Looks like a nice dinner, Loree.

  6. I love salmon and have it at least twice a week, although I'm lazy enough to just put it in a baking dish with olive oil & seasonings, and throw it into the oven. I buy a bag of wild-caught Alaska sockeye salmon filets, each individually wrapped, at Costco. (They also carry cod filets-super yummy; hake--a type of cod; halibut--expensive but worth it; and once in a while mahi-mahi. These are all wild-caught in the Pacific. I don't even want meat very often now.
