Well, suppose I could go back to where I mentioned the surgery and direct you there, or just go ahead and tell all again:)
SO, I have stabbing pain in my lower abdomen, above the belly button. Off and on it has been. Been mentioning it ever since a couple months after my surgery. :) Lasting for 1/2 hour to3 hours... I was told by TWO doctors when it happens to go to the ER and they will do a CT scan and can see what is happening. WELL, I did this in October I believe and ER would NOT do the scan, not warranted :) Still had the pain. Once or twice a month it seemed. And it is always at night about 7:30p to 10p Last couple weeks had it 3x and now it is accompanied with nausea, overwhelming nausea. Seems like it is happening more often. SO, doctor thinks it is a hernia at the site of the reconnection of the intestines to the bowel :) at the time of my surgery (bariatric) when I weighed so much the stitches were good, but since the weight loss, they have become loose, allowing the hernia :) SO, this is all speculation, they don't know what is going on inside,, hence the EXPLORATORY :) surgery, which just sounds awful...to me.... just sayin'
AND they don't seem to be concerned about the pleurisy and the surgery... :) AND I am feeling MUCH better, can actually take some deep breathes w/o the stabbing pain in the chest.... and can stand up straight, that is a bonus :)
Take Care & God Bless All
