Nothing--Really

There is REALLY nothing going on.. have accomplished a lot!!! but just the normal things that you do around the house off and on, everyday!  So don't really think you all want to hear about the mundane.  Went to Madras on Friday as wanted to go to the Mennonite Bakery, why, I don't know.... Brian needed some apple pie and I was too lazy to make it myself....??? They have some good stuff in there.... visited people, had an enjoyable day.    Yesterday.... home, doing more 'stuff, made the card for my grand-niece who is having a 'Minnie Mouse' birthday this year.  SO thought this card was perfect!  And so easy!!! And everyone knows what it is, right???

Today am watching 'the games' don't know why, it is irritating those guys 'filling' in and talking non-stop...geez and men talk about women.... Patriots just made a field goal.

Tonight 'the Following' restarts for this season.. ooooo it is so icky at times.... good show, fills something latent in me, don't know exactly what, but have a hard time believing there are awful people like that in the world.  The Klondike is a mini-series on for three days on Discovery, thought it looked good.  Have always been enraptured with that period of time and those stories, especially after reading Jack London and Robt Service.  And The good Wife and Downton Abbey is on, so am DVR ing things for later viewing pleasure  :)

Hope you are all having a GOOD day.. it is bright and sunny here, even sat outside with the dogs for awhile, worrisome tho for the water tables for this summer....

Take Care All and God Bless

  1. I worry about the water tables here as well - absolutely had to do a ocuple loads of laundry today and feel guilty about it1 Even if I had TV I wouldn't watch the game - back in the 1970's starting with Howard Cosell it became non-stop kibbitzing among the announcers. Back then I could turn the TV sound off and the radio broadcase of the game - PERFECT!

  4. Well, the Broncos won their game, and Seattle is trailing in theirs, but it's just getting started. We're going to watch Klondike, too. Did you watch the "making of" that they have On Demand? Looks pretty authentic. We were up that way several years back, and it does look pretty much like they show it, although they are in a different location. It's all shot on location, and they actually climb up the mountain in the snow. Pretty realistic. Should be good.

  5. Your cards are just wonderful. So creative. LOVE Downton Abbey but we are going to have to buy the DVD for this year just like last year. We are often in places where our little roof antenna can't pull in TV. We watch almost no TV so the only time we care is when Downton is on. But it's too frustrating to be able to watch it for 2 or 3 weeks in a row and them miss one or two.

  6. We have an Amish bakery not too far from here and it is great. Only open Friday and Saturday though.
Wish you would send us some of that sunshine. We have been blanketed with heavy fog for about a week now - makes the cold seem even colder.

  7. I've never been to an Amish or Mennonite bakery, but they sound good! The birthday card is really cute. Good job!
