Good People!

Came home from Salem today..beautiful drive over the mountain, virtually had the road to myself!!!
You know when you meet someone you just know, they are good, kind people!!!  Today I met Joe & Betty, a co-blogger....  they have been over in Central Oregon staying at Thousand Trails by Sunriver for the past week or so.  It worked out that they wanted to see Sisters and I was coming thru there on the way home so we got together and had lunch at Bronco Billy's!!!! This is a great OLD place to go to, lots of old-timey atmosphere- good food, they let us order off the children's menu  :) (I had chicken tenders, ate one and the other one I was saving for dinner and Luci got it!!!  Right off the back seat, I did not think she could get up there, the little heifer!!!)  But I digress.....  Joe and Betty live in the Portland area, so hoping there will be other times we can met up and discuss the world at large  :)

Below is a picture of the Santiam River just above Detroit Lake.. the lake was really FULL and it was really GREEN...I know I belabor that point but geez things were really green in the Valley!!!  Everywhere....

Take Care All,  hope you all make new, great friends, I feel like I did today!!!!

  2. Yes, Joe and Betty are great people. Glad you got to meet them. And eating at Bronco Billy's is always a plus. Next time I'll have to ask them about ordering off the children's menu. Nice of you to share your lunch with Luci haha!!

  5. What fun to meet new folks! Glad you had a good time in the valley. It's still the same beautiful place that attracted all those pioneers so many years ago!
