Bloomin'

Things are blooming on 26th Street!!  It is so rewarding to see nature at work!  This is my favorite poppy... kind of other worldly, huh?

The hollyhock is not pink... but a wonderous color! And it is taller than I am!!  Pretty good for being transplanted.  Last year it did nothing but this year it took hold for sure!!

This is borage.... don't know exactly what it is good for, but it supposedly spreads and is about 3 feet tall, huge stalk, looks like something from outer space  :)  but the color is pretty....
Today was playing catch-up of all the things that did not get done last week.  The dogs had no 'cookies'  OMG!!!  Did not get home until 4:20p and this was after coming back to the house twice as forgot things that were needed in order to complete my errands  :(
Today was the hottest day so far and I wore a short sleeve sweater over a t-shirt all day....  what is going on?  no body fat???  do you suppose?  Oh, well, one copes.  Hoping tomorrow I can kick back and relax in the sun, somewhat, work on the tan.  Was getting a start when in Calif.  would sit out on the patio, read.  we ate outside for all meals... so very nice.
Thursday have a stamp club meeting, then have to stat cooking family BBQ on Friday.  big 4th of July parade here in Redmond... love. love a parade....
Take Care All.....  Hope all friends in the Midwest are faring OK with their horrid rain/storms... and Arthur is gaining speed and  bearing down on Florida and the Outer Banks... Thinking of them and wish them well......
