Yesterday was just bitter cold and windy... Went with a friend to see A Walk In the Woods with Nick Nolte and Robt Redford.. what a good show... laughed and laughed.. poor guys
Today it is downright balmy, sunny, light wind, the wind chimes are tinkling.. ordering a pizza. Spent some time sitting in back yard with the dogs.. BUT SO much needs done back there, racked and mowed and de-pooped... am spending the day in bed.. what more can I say

I read and enjoyed "A Walk in the Woods" years ago when it was first published and I've always liked the author. It was written with a comical perspective, but in no way represents a thru hike of the Appalachian Trail. Can't imagine what the movie has embellished it to be.
