Sick!!

Been sick the last two days, apparently I can't eat unless I continue to take Prilosec!!  AND oh trying to get a refill is taking forever, they gave me an "emergency" supply yesterday and today am much, much better!! Walgren's had the wrong fax # for the doctor, why? one may ask as I have been taking these since aug last year and have had refills before, they act like this is the first time... they sent 3 requests, no response, of course, as that is not a 'good' number, ( and just where does that request or call go to? the hinterland, and if someone got it and was not theirs would they not tell the sender, hey, you got the wrong number?) gave them the right one, doctor office said they had received no request, then they did, sent authorization to pharmacy, now the pharmacy says there is an issue and need clarification??? What?  Tomorrow will run out of my "emergency" supply so will see if the prescription is there. we will see.  feel like I am the 'in between' person trying to get two people to talk to one another, what is that??? anyway??
such is my RANT for the day!!!

  3. Have you considered taking a probiotic? I had terrible digestive problems following my gallbladder surgery last year, and with the probiotics, plus two capsules of tumeric daily (tumeric is a pain and inflammation remover) I am totally well now. There are a few highly spiced foods I don't eat just as a precaution, but regular spicy seems to be ok. I was glad to be rid of the prescription meds. Hope you feel better.

  4. We are having the same type of issue with one of Jim's meds. And it's with our mail order pharmacy. So frustrating. Hope you feel better soon and get it all straightened out.

  7. I feel your pain. It took me multiple phone calls and visits to get a 3 month supply prescription for my nasal spray. Yes, I need it every day!

  8. It seems there is no professionalism, in some offices, anymore. It took me 3 calls to my Dr office to try and get my diabetic test strips. You need them ordered by your Dr. to have ins. pay for the biggest share of it. They never did follow thru and finally ran out and had to pay full price. Needless to say, I switched Doctors.
