New Morning

Not much going on here, just daily things.  Nice clear weather, but cold!! Frosty morning... the mountains are wonderful! Went to the gym this morning!! Yes, I did! Want to do a 5K on the 14th so figured I needed a little conditioning, rather than just drag myself out of this chair and expect to walk.... so I went to a yoga class and 20 min on the treadmill.
Yesterday made the chicken/chili and it is darn good.
Hung my Sunshine Cottage sign by the front door.  have finally taken down ALL of Christmas except for the star lights, have to get the ladder out to take care of that, and have not gotten the humpf to do that yet :) and they are cheery when coming home in the dark...
Have to get up at 7a, to get to the gym at 8am and never ceases to amaze me that the sun is barely up, sky is pretty that early and there are other people up and about, on the way to work one would suppose.. haha... oh well... it is an eye opener for sure.. and the light on the mountains is surely something to behold!!

Take Care All and God Bless the wonderful day!!!

Oh and the ORANGE man was in Bend on Saturday!!! So exciting!! Now have GOOD oranges for a couple days, next week end he said he would be back and have pecans and pistachios.... yummmmmmm

  1. That chile looks tasty for a cold day. I could live without the beans, though. ;)

  2. The chili looks really good. I've been cooking that sort of food a lot lately as it's perfect for this weather. I have been eating a lot of tangerines lately - 3-4 a day! So good and sweet.

  4. You CAN do a 5k, it is only 3.2 miles or so. Just do not carry a backpack! Carry your bottle of water in your hand or a fanny pack like the rest of us old ladies!
