SNOW!!!

Well, here is our snow, ALL day yesterday it snowed and snowed and snowed, little fine stuff. We shoveled late in the afternoon and this morning there was only about 3 more inches, then or course, the snow plow came by in the night and threw up a berm that had to be removed b4 we could get out of the driveway or the mail truck could get to the boxes... and that took about 1 1/2 hours of shoveling, lifting, walking, because there is no place to put it nearby where you are at... and you don't want to dump it back into the street or on the neighbors drive... it is a real pain.... and that loooong sidewalk.... sidewalk is not next to street, there is an area of dirt, plantings inbetween so the snowplow stuff goes there.  when I lived in Bend the sidewalk was right next to the road and when the plow came by the snow would go onto the sidewalk you had just cleared.... so discouraging, this is better and gives a place to put al of that snow, that and on your yard....

See the sidewalk taking off the left in the above picture??  My oh my.... not bad this morning as had removed most all of it last night...
We just bundle up and go out and get at it.... Brian has been really good to go right out, does not want me out there by myself.. With Alan Thicke passing and he was same age as me, Brian thinks I am going to drop over any minute.. HA!! Fortuneately, I have really good health, comparatively.... No heart issues (knock on wood)  Doctor was even giddy at my 30# weight gain, which I feel concerning, but he was very excited and exuberant about, was weird I thought... oh, well... As my niece says, it is what it is... I guess I no longer look like a wandering holocaust survivor, which I was there for awhile...
Spa day today and HAD to get that driveway done so I could get out!! Brian says could cancel, WHAT? NO WAY!!!  He laughed at my 'priorities"  :)...
Take Care All and God Bless... be thankful/grateful for good health and being able to move....

  2. The snow looks soooo cold! I keep thinking I want to be in snow for a change, but then when I see photos of it I wonder if I just love the memories of it when I was younger and my kids enjoyed it so much.

    1. I am sure that is what it is, because I can't see where any thinking, reasoning person would CHOOSE to willingly venture forth into it for sport.. hahaha
