JUNE

This was Mother's Day on the Deschutes river. the people I was visiting have a place right in the middle of a bend of the river ...  it is so very pretty there.  We have seen deer in the meadow across the way. One 4th of July we sat and watched people float down the river. It was fun, everyone happy, waving, drinking, fishing.... So very hot tho...
This is south of Sunriver . Top looking North, bottom looking South.

Lots of clean-up needed tho for pine cones and needles are VERY abundant....

Have been busy, cleaning house, got a load of compost today in the pick-up, which still started.  I had charged it a couple weeks ago and have gone out to run it a couple of times.  If you have read this blog before, it is a HUGE thing for me to keep it charged and ready to run!!! Guess I have been doing OK, so far.  Got the compost spread on the places between the sidewalk and the road, looks really good and fresh, tomorrow going to fix the back yard and plant some grasses then cover with the compost.... will probably have a bunch left over, but can dump it in the side garden area....
Made apt for Luci yearly check-up, hopefully she checks out ok.... gave her a bath today, she is all frisky and look at me, aren't I special???? :)  cutey.....
I can't really believe it is already JUNE... geez... where does the time go?
Also want to get another 1/2 load of gravel to freshen areas in the yard.... can't figure where it all goes, just sinks into the dirt???
