Rugs

Am embarking on a house renewal... SO.. had the rugs cleaned. the smaller one is at the foot of my bed and the large one on the laminate floor in the living room.. did not come out perfect, there are some dark spots that just would not come out and boy did he work on them... but, you know, i don't care, they are CLEAN and that is the important thing, it feels so very different in here, not so heavy, with lots of stuff off the walls, painted and clean rugs.... am happy.  there was so much DOG hair from poor ol' Carl and pee.. as he got older and less discriminate with eliminations..... HA!!! you try to clean up, but never get it all, and what happens when you are not there?

anyway, Chem Dry does a great job, uses very little water, the backing on the rug was not even wet... and they put on a protectorate too!  It just feels so soft, cushy and clean!!!! Only took 3 hours to dry

Today, even tho it is Sunday, i did 3 loads of towels, sheets, clothes. Watered the yard and had to drag the hoses around to north side of the house, where there is no water spigot.... those plants over there, never really have a chance, do ok some of the year, but now they are all dying for lack of water.
Just went out and the wind has come up/changed and we are getting smoke, huge fire West of here on green ridge.... one of my favorite places to go to to get a close up view of Mt Jefferson.
Cleaned Bathroom, that is something that one thing leads to another sort of thing, clorox figures heavily in getting the shower curtain de-scummed.... , have to strip bed, then make the bed... made small batch of choco chip cookies.... cuz i had a hankering. then had dishes to do. Still watering the yard.... working on afghan.. reading.... watching CNN
Have a list of things i want to have done and Monday am going to call to see about new blinds, i am over these slat things, that are dirty.... need a handyman, to put in handrails in shower and a wall hanging in there, can't figure how to do it. Want to replace the bathroom sink as it is rusting out, when i had new faucets put in a couple years ago, the plumber said i would need to do that, and as long as doing that might as well replace the whole bathroom cabinet thing!  right?  Need more shelves in the craft room and a small narrow one in living room, that i want to be my TBR  (to be read) place, rather than have them laying all over the house in different places.   then that should do it.  Brian needs more slate to finish off his South yard project.
AND the back of the pick up is FULL again of things that i have dead headed around the yard, plus two great limbs that fell off the tree in the last big wind storm we had.....
Sooooo things are moving along, life goes on...
Take Care All and God Bless
