More Painting

 Have spent the last 5 days painting the bathroom!!! and sanding/staining the windowsills... which i must say, turned out really good.... but that stain smells, did it yesterday and STILL smells.... but it is a clean smell.... I just feel like everything is washed down and clean!!!

Had to do spots today that were missed.  You think you are getting it all, go over it a couple of times and then you are 'sitting' there and you see spots.... geez. Oh well, it gets done, sooner or later and it just looks soooo good and there is such a feeling of accomplishment...

got the shower curtain back up, which is a major undertaking it seems and all the pictures and 'stuff' back in place.... got rid of a bunch more things too. so clean and spared down.... well, sort of :)

it was all white before and boy, it was dirty!!! hate to say that. but one day follows another and it just does not seem the thing to do, wash walls.... WELL, done now....

The leaves are falling, falling, falling and need to get into taking care of those now.... just LOTS of leaves..

made a zuchinni/lemon cake tonite and it turned out yummy, from Pinterest...

Got new glasses, buy one, get on free... had been 5 years since i had an exam and new ones.... so these will prob be my last glasses.... morose, huh.. but fact is fact...  feel very stylish...

There is new snow on those mtns!!!

Friend and i are going to  take a drive on hwy 22 to Salem on tuesday and see where the fire burned the Santiam Canyon and the little hamlets of Detroit, Gates, Lyons... It is going to be very sad. Can't even begin to know how many times i have made that drive.  when working was going over there for training and meetings.  Had friends over there and visited with them.  then on the way to the beach... Staying with Friend Carol when she was house sitting at different times in the Salem area.  Even camped at the State park in Detroit....
