It was VERY good, but a little spendy.Donna Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06161069942110860372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-962258372760648284.post-13351745718869224362012-06-13T14:18:29.654-07:002012-06-13T14:18:29.654-07:00That top picture is outstanding! That top picture is outstanding!Travels with Emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00411769980205792011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-962258372760648284.post-31253153815236111132012-06-13T13:10:32.375-07:002012-06-13T13:10:32.375-07:00We love Astoria, but you are correct, no Walmart t...We love Astoria, but you are correct, no Walmart there. Have to go all the way to Newport for that. Astoria has Costco, Fred Meyer, JoAnn's and other good places.Carol Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09428623116947826625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-962258372760648284.post-29461746312324010772012-06-13T12:12:38.635-07:002012-06-13T12:12:38.635-07:00If I HAD to choose one place to live in this great...If I HAD to choose one place to live in this great country, I think I would pick Astoria, Oregon.

I went through Girabaldi and I'm trying to remember the name of the restaurant that was supposed to be so good. It was closed the day I was there. It's right in the marina parking lot and has a pirate hanging from a rope. People in Tillamook told me I had to eat there. I did see a somewhat fancier restaurant on the main road--I'm thinking that may have been Pirate's Cove. My curiosity has the best of me.

Have a great time! So much to do up in that area!Jackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06371157074687319596noreply@blogger.com
