Found a new favorite store, the Woolen Needle in Williamsburg, Iowa. We each bought a kit to make a penny mat using felt and button stitch. It is a cute and fairly easy sewing craft and hope it goes well, then i will be off and running :). They had more felt than can be imagined and were the nicest ladies. Got us started on an easy to learn project, something that we can accomplish.

Carol and i drove our respective cars to Davenport. It was pretty uneventful except for the stops in Ginnell and Williamsburg, which had a town square with grass and trees and businesses on all 4 sides. Rained on us a couple times. Finally got to her cute little new house apartment Which is near a huge, beautiful park, will put on pics tomorrow, she lives in a cute neighborhood.
