Today i had lunch with a couple of people i knew in high school.
You see yourself everyday, look in the mirror while brushing your teeth, check things out, a reflection in a store window. We know what we look like and how time passes. But when u see these people that u have not seen for years, they are familiar, you know who they are, but then you think of yourself also, and the thought inevitably comes to you, "WHO are these old people?"
How does this happen?
We had such a good time, reminiscing and looking at old annuals of the times we lived before, talking of what has happened to other people, where are they? what are they doing?
Time passes, we are who we are......we're still here.... :-)
Take Care All and God Bless

  1. Oh so very true. But what's disgusting is those who didn't age near as much as I have. Those lucky genes.

  4. Why is it that the view in the mirror changes while we remain young in our hearts??

  8. I'm amazed that you're in touch with people from high school. When I was in high school, (2 years east coast, 2 years west coast) I was a military brat and we didn't connect with people because we were going to be moving on. How lucky you are for the connection still.
