In the Front Yard

LOOK!!!! what was in the front yard Yesterday evening in Davenport, Iowa!!!  Right in the midst of a big town!!  There were two fawns, but could not get a shot of them together.  Mom had jumped a fence in the neighbors yard. We traveled to the UP of Michigan and NEVER saw any wildlife AT ALL, really looked for a moose too!!!  And here it is right in our own front yard..  God's nature at it's best.
They were on the other side and could just not figure it out, she was really watching me.  Did not want to stay out there, i appeared to be keeping them apart.  when i went into the house, could see that she was jumping back over to their side.  Was afarid they would get separated somehow and did not want that.
This is a blurry picture, but i rather liked it, shows alot of movement, yet you can tell what it is and what is happening.
The doe was really big and in really good shape. The deer we see at home are shaggy and patchy hides, look like something is wrong with them, or maybe it is just the time of year i see them.  But these looked really healthy and well fed.  It was pure joy to see them!!!
May nature's bounty greet you today!
Take Care and God Bless.  Most days the world is a wonderful place!!!!!    :)

  2. How cool is that!? I could feel your excitement at seeing the fawn out the window. The Doe is beautiful, too. I love the way they watch us to see what we're going to do.

I wonder what brought them in, any delicious plants or flowers in the yard? :)
