Outcome

Thank You!!!  all for the prayers....
Everything worked out really great!!!  I had a twisted bowel.  It twist around scar tissue/adhesion from the bariatric surgery of 2-7-12..  apparently the sides would stick together and 'stuff' would not move down as it was supposed to, causing the pain.  Was only in surgery for an hour, then took me two hours to wake up (always takes me a long time!!) and was home by noon.  Got some more good pain pills, because they pump air into your body cavity during surgery, so they can see things and this affects a nerve in the chest that affects the muscles in the shoulders and boy/howdy this is really painful.  Hoping it goes away in a couple days.
They could not hear any pleurisy in there, so that is gone, good, good!!! the anaesthesiologist really checked my lungs out well.
My sister-in-law was there waiting for me and got to see the doctor when he came out after and asked all pertinent questions, as at that point I can't remember anything.
And this afternoon sil stayed with me until Brian got home.  Am going to bed now.... with some more pills  :)
Expect to lay back and relax for next couple of days, have exercises to do, some walking and can't shower for two days, so don't imagine anyone wants to be around me, in any case ")
Things are looking up
Take Care All & God Bless

  9. Holy Cow! We stay away a couple of days and look what happens to you! Suzy had a bowel obstruction not caused by her bariatric surgery, had a bowel resection (they cut out about 8 - 10 inches of her colon and sewed it back together. She had two nights in the hospital for that. Sure is hell when your body parts start attacking you. We are glad yours was somewhat easier, but sorry it happened at all.
