Who Knew??

Who would have thought that a NEW battery for an OLD pick-up would be $120 for the least expensive??   (it had the original battery in it!!!)
Also....!!!!!  Nylons NOW cost $6.59!!!!  Do people still call them nylons?  or panty-hose???? Do they have a new hip name?  Don't know....

  1. The battery in your truck really gave you your money's worth!

  2. I'm glad I never had to replace the battery in my truck, but I sure wish I had still had the truck! I say nylons or panty hose - the terms are interchangeable in my mind. I have a whole bunch of old ones in a drawer but haven't worn them in years.

  3. Yes we found the battery shock when we had to buy TWO new ones for Winnona this summer in Acadia. Who would wear panty hose any more. Give it up. Think of the money you'll save. :-)

  4. Haven't a clue about the name...haven't worn any in a long time. Manage to wear long skirts and boots or something when I have to dress up, and in summer???? no way! hopefully you can get by without having to subject yourself to them, no matter what they are called.

  5. So glad not to wear panty hose any longer. When I was in high school we were wore with garter belts--ack!! I'm glad actually that people seem to be dressing more casually--at least here in the West anyway!

  6. I guess they are called whatever the packages says - I haven't worn them in years either. I always had tan legs and even when hose was required for a job, I didn't wear them. When I was really young, though, I wore nylons with garter belts like Dawn - I though I was pretty cool. LOL :)
