I just LOVE these sunflowers and the different way the light hits them at different times of the day.  An eternal joy!!
Had a great visit with my niece, Sacia today,,, talked about old family names and pictures and ancestry/stories.  Things like that will be forgotten if not passed on. So these are important times.  So, so wish they could move up here and then we could see each other more and more often  :(

Take Care All and God Bless

( I made a GREAT carnitas  crockpot recipe from a blog I read and had it last night and apparently Brian ate a WHOLE pack of the tortillas.  We still have LOTS of the meat left, so to the store I will go to get more tortillas!!!! Joy, just so love going to the grocery)

  1. I refused to go to the grocery today so we're having hot dogs for dinner. Sunflowers really do make the world a brighter happier place.

  2. It's so nice to be able to sit down and talk to family, especially the younger ones. I think we energize each other in different ways.

  3. The smiling face of sunflowers brightens any place and any day! How nice of you to have a niece interested in the stories. So many young people really aren't until those who could pass the stories on no longer can.

    1. I KNOW, I wish I had paid more attention to mom and got more info from my grandma!!!
