update

Doing well with the boot... does throw out the hip and back tho... don't always want to put on my ankle boots to just walkabout the house, so still spend a lot of time just sitting with foot elevated :) Have cleaned and washed the house, got the poop picked up in the back yard from the winter months, geez, you should SEE all the poop!! well, maybe not.. but am sure these two dogs, one little one, are virtual poop machines!!! 
Been grocery shopping, been to Costco, so am well stocked...
have to be sure to get those Velcro bands on the ace bandages in the right place or they rub and then you have hurting issues. Can't get those bandages on too tight, or issues!! Bandages, sock, boot and then am too hot, good thing it is not summer, that would be  horrid..... as it is, will be all set for summer... hope, hope.... not back to gym... am sure there is something I could do rather than just sit, but, what would that be? I do my therapy and move the feet this way and that, whether of not it is correct is yet to be seen, but do notice that I have more movement than what I did have at first, but only been not even a week yet, so am doing well, I think... have to have this boot thing for 6 weeks!! My heavens, this just takes forever.... the tingly feeling and deadness in the foot and toes is better, even after this short time, so think it is only time that heals....
Weather has been good.... some great days, some rain, but snow is all gone, have some snow moss in the yard, but saw on line that mix dishwashing soap with water and spray on it, to kill that, so have to get out and do that.  the mooshed down grass is springing up.  Have little violas blooming, YES blooming in the bark on the side yard.. so cute to see... Got out there and cut back some of the mums that were laying flat on the ground all dead, should have gotten them out prior to the snow, but that did not happen, so that is all taken care of.  finally got the xmas lights down!!! HA!!!  :) I see where Brian has been out duct taping the branches of the little weeping plum tree that broke in the heavy snow, hope that helps and it does not die....
So things are slowly getting done and life goes on.....
