Left with friend Carol G on Monday the 20th and returnedThursday.. was going to do blogs daily but forgot the computer!!!! had camera and phone is all.. stayed at Ocean Rogue in Twin Rocks
Things have changed since i last made a reservation, you do it all on line, get a 'code' then when get to the motel use the code to access the apt and never even see anyone.. no office visit or talking to people at the office, getting to know people or anything, the place is not spiffed up during your stay, but there were plenty of towels (6) and pillows and blankets, even milk bones and a dish for luci....
easy peasy, but weird no human contact
It was bitter cold when we got there and walked on the beach, windy!!!!
but the next day it was all gone and just sweatshirts were needed the rest of the stay.
We had a very nice, relaxing visit. Stopped to see my friend, who was really my mom's friend, but i grew up with her family. Both the families visited back and forth over the years. There is just Nora left and her daughter, Carol and sister lona, who i have not seen for years... We had a nice visit in her little cabin in Garabaldi. and dinner with her the following day....
Went to Cape Meares and the Tillamook Creamery!!! used to be cheese factory but they are trying to rebrand and they redid the factory into this huge new building with deli and ice cream place and small toney gift shop.... well it is large but does not have all of the things they did b4, mostly just Tillamook branded things.... t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, cups, some kids things, lots of different cheeses, and jams: things like that....
More in future days... I can space these out for days!!!!

I liked seeing your trip on Facebook and Instagram, but I am glad you are blogging about it,too. Weird about that motel checkin.
