Day 15

Have been wanting to get a pic like this all the time, but it is hard, you know. have to have access for the car and have to have good tall corn and not be where u need to walk in tall grass or weeds to get there, as there may be crawly creatures we would not want to encounter.. most is, but there are some stubby corn too.. this was way tall and in Nebraska.. we spent alot of time in Nebraska today on hwy 92-2, it is shown as scenic, and it was, in only the way Nebraska can be.. and LOTS of corn... but traversed the whole length..

because.. i wanted he to see

To see Chimney Rock and Scott's Bluff, because they were such beacons to the pioneers on the Oregon Trail, am sure she will read about that history some day and now she will have been there

There are 4 tunnels and a very windy road to the top. an my Senior pass still works for National Parks, just hang that sucker in my window and i am in like Flint.. It was so dry on the top, weird, did not seem that dry down at the bottom and some of those hills were downright green and most all of the corn was very green, only afew dry.. when i was here in 2012 it was very dry and most all the corn was dead..

Tomorrow we are on the way to Mt Rushmore.... There is much excitement here....

Take Care All and God Bless
