Day 16

 

Yesterday was an awful day, we both seemed at logger heads all day, think it is time to head straight home.. and the wifi was not working at the hotel in Evansville, WY

 AND Miss f****g Lady GPS had us going down a gravel road for miles and miles and then all of a sudden says welcome to So Dakota, but where at, is an unknown, i finally had to resort to an atlas i had, and a sign that said Ardmore, a town in So Dakota that was not really a town, everything was closed and boarded up BUT there was a paved road that headed north so hey, that was an improvement..

And paid to go thru Custer State Park and saw not ONE buffalo!!! Saw 2 big horn sheep and a deer and coyote.. oh and turkeys!!!! but not one buffalo... and then we were thru and that was it... onward and up ward.. until we got to Caper WY and made decision to just go straight across thru South Pass, have always wanted to see that and so much history in that area...

and am a day late in posting due to comp/wifi issues and was at a Sleep Inn and not my fav and consistent Holiday Inn Express.. always clean and comfy.. that sleep Inn smelled good, but that was it, had to look for the young ones lost ring and there was dirt and food (muffin) under the bed... ick, ick, ick
