My niece fixed us breakfast and we left at 9a and got home at 12:30a Monday morn. and this is about all we saw. Got thru L.A. in just an hour and a half, that has got to be some record!! Got dark about Red Bluff, just when the interesting stuff comes!! They were harvesting roma tomatoes, saw LOTS of trucks with them in. Luci is stuck to my side and overcome with joy.... it is great to be so loved!!
Glad you made it back safe and sound. :)
ReplyDeleteThat was a whirlwind trip!
ReplyDeleteI bet it feels good to be home;)
ReplyDeleteWow that was fast!
ReplyDeleteDogs are so devoted and never critical no matter what we do. Luci isn't sulking that you went, she's thrilled that you are back.

I thought my 10 hour day was bad. I'm not sure how you made it 16.5. I, too, got a great picture of Mt Shasta, then a trucker parked illegally and blocked any more pictures. I'm glad you got there and back safely.
ReplyDeleteI just saw your question on my blog. My Volvo is too heavy for Olivia. I'd need a much lighter vehicle. I had enough trouble going over all the passes without a toad so I really wouldn't want one with Olivia.
