Why is it that the minute I get into the shower Luci starts barking her head off like someone is coming/breaking into the house??? Makes me feel very vulnerable :) (there is NO one there)
Why is it that the leaves are already falling off of those HUGE trees in the backyard? Did they do that last year? I don't remember it being this early...??? Really? I mean there are still LOTS on the trees, just some all over the yard every day....
Why is it I had the lawnmower fixed as the handle fell off, and NOW the grass catcher guard is lifting and grass/dirt is blowing up into my face and all over me. Had to take it back again to the place. They were nice and all and very apologetic, but it is a BIG hassle to get it into the back of the car, I can't lift it and have to ask the neighbor... remember the great, helpful neighbor? Cuz I had to have it to the small engine repair place before they closed and that was before Brian got home, see.... big hassle. BUT now it is fixed the spring or something and now it snaps right down into place. Hopefully does the same thing when running as it is a big shocker to have all that grass all of a sudden all over YOU!!!!
Take Care All!!!!
Murphy's Law, Loree... he was over here but seems he needed a change of scenery... sorry
ReplyDeleteEver since Psycho ... I only shower in the daytime with the chains on the doors. That was, what... 100 years ago? damn that movie
I, too, am experiencing a tree or trees losing leaves. I can sit and watch them drift down like rain, but not all my trees are losing leaves. What does this mean about an early fall or winter....ugh? I still get the heebie jeebies taking a shower as well and totally agree with Carolyn....damn that movie! I would try taking sweet Lucy in the bathroom with me when I took a shower!
ReplyDeleteSounds like one of those bad days. Glad you got at least one of the problems fixed. Dirt and grass all over sounds terrible and no doubt the cause of another shower.
ReplyDeleteAnd why is it that nothing ever seems to go easy the first time?
ReplyDeleteLoved your list of "why is it" questions! And yes, it can be Murphy's Law, but I prefer to think of it as Kokopell1 playing tricks. He's a real imp at times. If I lay down a tool, when I turn around, it's gone. Old Koko is at it again.
ReplyDeleteThe mower story made me remember me mowing my two acres, years ago. Then I realized that by living in an RV and moving around, I don't have any grass to mow anymore!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that your mower is fixed. Maybe you'll be able to mow without grass all over you!
Maybe she wants to be in the shower with you:)
