Saturday Visit

Went for a drive to Prineville as friend Carol G was housesitting north of town.  Weird house at the end of a lane, sat really high in the back, so must have been on quite a hill... nice great room and kitchen tho.. but think it would take a time to get used to being continually that high up all the time.
We went to Dillon's Grill and shared an order of nachos which was really good, spiced ground beef and not shredded beef.  Like it that way, Nice ambiance.  THEN right across the street was Makers, a business Rick Steber opened that highlights local craftsmen.  Had some really interesting things in there.  Expensive paintings.
Steber is a local author of the western genre.  i like his books...
It was rainey off and on and sunny too...

Been raking leaves in the back yard.. Got 6 HUGE black bags so far.  Also cleared out a bunch of dead flower stems... did some borders.... the pick up is full again and the front yard again has loads of leaves...
Today went to Redmond Comm Concert, the 1st of the season, Dallas String Quartet.. they were really good, the second half was on their electronic instruments and it was different but really good... had an enjoyable time and feel as if i am all cultured up for a while now...
