Beach

Got to go to the Beach with my niece, her intended and grand-niece.. Had a wonderful time. stayed in Rockaway Beach this time, in a different place, that i was not too excited about at first but it grew on me and was just fine and had a HOT TUB that we used everyday!! and a fire pit where we had a fire and s'mores..

 

 We ate at the Sanddollar right at the rest stop in the middle of Rockaway and had the best cod fish and chips and garlic toast.

I was reluctant to get onto the beach and not able to walk far, but on Saturday i had enough of that thinking and went onto the beach at Manzanita. Not even the easiest of egress either, but took it slow and made it there and back. Rylie carried Luci back as she was done in by the walk down and was was NOT going up that hill to get back to the car.

I did have my phone conference with doc and need more exercise and going to get a cortisone shot in the hip i guess, which does not sound fun at all.. He saw arthritis forming in the socket, and feels that is causing the pain.  Trying this and maybe need a full replacement in the future, but will see if this works.. Hoping.....

We had that thing pushed up to 104 and it was nice...

Boy we are having a nice day today, i even have the doors open to air things out a bit.. Turned off the heat even!!! NARY A CLOUD IN THE SKY. and the trees out back are dropping their nasty leaf casing things... what a gooey, icky mess the are. I have daffodils up and tulips are trying.. and the little snowy bell things... mom's lenten rose is blooming. ALL kinds of people are out walking.

It was a nice, cute little place, that had everything you could want on a short term basis. Will show more pictures in future posts... AND we only had rain for a very short period of time on Saturday morning. So that would be called a success...  Oh BUT they are rebuilding the jetty at Barview so could not sit out there and watch the boats going in and out... The campground there was pretty full.. But when we went to the Cheese Factory inTillamook it was not too terribly busy only about a 10 min wait for ice cream.. I had marionberry pie!! and it was delish!!!
