Wedding

The bride, my niece, JeriMay.  Wedding was last nite at 4:29p.. at Shevlin Park in Bend... It was just lovely, we had a good time.. this was b4 when she was getting ready.. getting everyone ready! It was a mad house and too much for me, so i went to the venue and talked with people as they came in..

She arrived on the back of her Dad's Harley to the tune "Bad to the Bone"... she had about a 20 minute ride thru traffic on the back of that thing, in her dress.... can't imagine, but she was just fine, everyone was fine, but it was a surprise to some and they were in awe... :) lots of cheers and clapping

(my phone ran out  and i forgot my camera, and i did not get very many good pics, but she had a photographer there, so i am sure she got all the pics that they will ever need...)

Her dress was beautiful... if a bit skimpy on top... but then i am old....

Had to include a pic of my son Brian and his girl friend (is that what they are called now? significant other?) But this is the FIRST time i have seen him in slacks since we rented a tuxedo for his senior prom.  just jeans and shorts kind of a guy... Her name is Robin and she is very kind and nice and appears to care for him deeply, which is all that counts... funny we picked out the same type of dress.. from different places and times...

This is Kevin the 'intended'  he is the nicest guy and so very hard working... she must have called him when i left as he was waiting for me an escorted  me into the venue..  They are so caring and look out for me alot..

JeriMay and her Dad with the Father/Daughter dance... they were so cute, it was a very tender monment... I know he could dance, many were in wonder that he could and did, but i remember when we were much younger going out to the clubs together, so had seen the phenomenon b4, haha

like i said my phone pooped on me (i am getting a new one next week i think) should have charged it up b4 i left the house, and did not get so many pictures of what was going on or even the venue, which she had done very beautifully, simple but totally in taste, sort of burlap, eco friendly plates and dinnerware, daisies.. lilies... catered by friends of hers.. even had a bagpiper, back to our roots... and a table set up with pics of ones lost to us but on our minds at occasions like this.

lovely hair...

i got lost getting out to the place where she was getting ready in desch river woods a subdivision south of Bend.. geez google maps had me all over the place, finally used my good sense (have i any?) and remembering driving about in there in the past, looking at all the houses.  it is a place where they have these fancy houses next to mobile homes on big lots, lax  building codes back in the day... the lots are huge by todays standards, but you can be next to the beverly hillbillies and it is really not the ideal place to live, you have to be careful where u pick to buy or build..

My younger brother, 8 yrs my junior, drives a log truck and a Harley :) putting in here my favs photos of the day... and this is a good one, he does not like to smile for the camera, but it was a happy day

want a full length of my dress, it was really comfy too, got it from Nordstroms, online... ended up matching shoes i already had! and went thru a whole rigamarol over under garments and ordering getting them, too small, too big, and i certainly did not fill out the top of the dress, i just don't in anything and i have accepted that, at this late time in my life, just what is, is.. hahahaha

It was a grand time.. and i am sure a good time was had by all.. have not heard anything from them today, they are prob still sleeping... ha!

Take Care all and God Bless and may you all have things to celebrate in your life!
