frozen fog

Dec 4th we had frozen fog... It is so pretty and love the Juniper trees in the fog  (these are not them, but were pretty all in a row) with the cyclone fence

I mean, look at that!  it brings out the dark bark and the needles? and all of the under bush is cool too

Sade and i drove around town looking for special trees

Just shows off all the twistyness

And here are my Christmas balls on the tree outside the front window.  Love the way they look.

I have been busy making cards, gift cards and treat holders.  Sewing, made lots of pillowcases, i feel they are a cheep, yet great gift to give something special made just for that person.  there are of course ALL kinds of fabric out there to suit most anyone.

This is the Humble Home set and think it makes for cute treat holders.., made LOTS of these! some brown with hearts on the door.  the cute little peppermint wreaths on the door were hard to come by and they finally got more in to order in late October.. some have kisses in them and some lindt truffles

Gift card holders

And here is the snot.  She will NOT get used to wearing that harness, she just lays down and won't do anything, when i try to walk her, she is excited to be outside BUT she still lays down in the grass or the road and won't move, she does eventually, but it is on her terms and not what i want, and forget putting her cute little coats on to be warm when she goes out to potty, she just rolls around trying to get it OFF and in doing that gets it all dirty and filled with twigs or grass.. maybe some dogs just will not wear them?  i don/t know, but leaving it on all day does not work, she does not "get used" to it. and then when i finally take it off, she is all over the place as she has all of this pent up energy from doing nothing all day.  Guess she will just be cold to go outside..  and when there is snow or the frozen frost, she did not want to go out AT ALL and would hold it, then poop somewhere in the house... no matter how many times i threw her out to do her thing... Maybe i am just frustrated and it is not as bad as all that and she will eventually be trained and do as i want.  there is always hope, right?????

I did get my tree up... Brian has not gotten outside lights up yet, and they are in prime pkg time and going to work 11:30 at night or tomorrow they start at 2am.. and working over 8 hours a day.  Last week they were 20 (freight) trucks behind.. but think they are getting pretty much caught up or at least staying even, they said it was a nightmare there.  hee-hee (UPS)

Have gotten most everything done, just have a couple things that i want to pick up....  went to Costco today and wow!!! lots of people and traffic out there.

This week end we have a xmas dance recital Saturday and the Nutcracker Sunday, so that should be fun!!!

Take Care all and God Bless
