OH!!! My Gosh

We (family) had a baby!!! Novah May 6# 11oz.... Dad picked out the name...

 

And she is just about perfect.  Look at all that hair!

 I got to hold her for about an hour yesterday and she just laid there... not a peep. course she was asleep the whole time.. 

She latched on right away, within an hour of birth. No problem at all.. She was making little sucking movements so, they said, lets go or it!!!  Just seems pretty laid back so far...

I was on teenager duty... Novah born  9:24p 4-29-25 and Rylie turned 13 on the 30th... 

We had a little celebration dinner at Olive Garden Sunday... Mom had flowers delivered at her school, which Rylie said was totally embarrassing...!!! I have stayed two nights at their house and was the 'chauffeur'... to school and home and to baseball game and practice and who knows what all... lots of driving.. all the towns in Central Oregon are basically 20-25 miles apart, Bend Redmond, Prineville, Madras... and she is in school baseball, little league baseball and track... sooooo, lots of driving and waiting

I have been weeding, weeding, weeding and still have limbs and dead leaves stuck here and there that needs to be picked up.. have weed n feed the lawn. and am going to use a mixture of salt, white vinegar and dawn dish soap for some of the weeds in the gravel, which i have been working on seems like weeks now And drove by the other day and there is GREEN coming up..again..... so plenty to do around here... and have started another afghan.  just need to have something to do when i sit here watching or listening to the TV.. and Brian wanted a specific one, the black granny square with jewel tones... sort of a classic. it was on the couch in Rosanne or Big Bang Theory or some such thing.... sooooo..... not hard, but had to make it more difficult the way i wanted to put all the squares together and you have to keep changing color....
