Here is the lighthouse!!!! The road was closed from Cape Meares, so we had to go around to the South side from Netarts, which made for a little longer trip, BUT When in Oceanside we went to Roseanna's Café which was a GREAT decision. Patti had halibut which was really, really good... and there was a view too as it was right on the ocean. Excellent food, molasses bread, and a roasted rice and spinach soap.... So good thing the road from the north was closed
Cape Meares lighthouse is the shortest lighthouse in Oregon, BUT also the highest as it sits on top of a 280' cliff!!!!!

We also stopped at the cheese factory in Tillamook and had some ice cream!!! white chocolate raspberry and wild blackberry, both were really, REALLY good...

ReplyDeleteIf you are still in the Tillamook area and you are a tea drinker, La-Tea-Dah, is a wonderful little place for high tea. Right on the main drag going South on the right hand side.
