Curtain Installation
You know, i don't have to do this, BUT just goes to show....
Think i am getting older or loosing reason ability, things just don't work as they used too.
This curtain ........ You notice there is a high and low side to the rings holding curtains up... i use a cloth liner, just prefer that, can bleach and wash it to get musty smell and gunk off of it....
THEN i like it really high up so that my son, who is 6'2" does not splash water all over, because that is not really a concern of his......
SO.... well first i got the hooks on there the wrong way, so the short side was on the inside... then the liner showed over the top of the outside curtain...(notice this AFTER everything was hung) can't have that, it is wrong.... soooooo ... decide to read instructions, as did not do that before, because this looks easy enough... right...
Then had to take curtains down and reverse the hooks so that the short side was on the outside... and the liner was hidden by the outside curtain.. that looked much better
You know, these rods you just pull them out to fit shower, then twist a certain way and it affxes to the walls of the shower and magically stays there.
THEN you know there is a little connector in the rod - a plastic thingy, weeeellll it was holding up the hooks from freely rolling to the side when you moved curtains to get into the shower.. becuz there are these cool hooks that have rollers on them for easy sliding back and forth on the rod .. that was not right... walked about, did some other things.... thought about it and NO there was NO way to get those curtains OFF all in one piece so that i did not have to do each step yet again, you know put on the hooks then put on each curtain separately.....
SO.... took the whole thing down yet again... this time i used a stool to stand on to get the damn thing up high enough, cuz really it was not high enough the 2nd time and might as well do the whole thing all over again as was having to take it all apart again in any case....
SO now i had to use the stool to put up the rod (because it was just a tad higher than i could reach) and reverse the ends so that the plastic thingy was on the left side and the roller hooks could roll freely when getting into the shower... don't really need to worry about it being on the left side as only pull the curtain partially open anyway from right to left and does not go as far as the plastic thingy..... so up on the stool to hang rod, get down to pick up hooks, back up on stool to put on hooks, then down to get liner, up again to put on liner, down again to pick up outside curtain, up again to put up on outside curtain.... and THERE it is done and picture taken to show installed shower curtain and rod and rollers..... HA!!!! SEE, think i just did not think things thru far enough, BUT you know i think things thru or start to and then just can't figure them out so just don't do whatever and keep thinking about how to go about, whatever.....
AND i HAD to have the shower curtain up, as not something a person can do without...
So now think i will go outside where it is chilly, will we not ever have a summer!!!??? and finish edging the lawn... sounds fun, huh..... Well i don't really have to think that thru....
Take Care All and God Bless

I feel your pain! ;-) Several years ago I tried using just the liner (cloth, not plastic) without the outer part. It is still a pain to get it down to wash it, but at least there's just one set of rings to contend with.
