Thought u all needed a look at Carl... He is hanging in there...
Comp went bags up and has been in shop for a couple weeks.... apparently i need to get in touch with them rather than other way around. It has been ready, just needed a 'tune up' they said, but now it is back...
Car had a rattle and it was the sway bars, whatever that is!!! But... the rattle is gone. It also needed a new battery....
Then the garage door stopped working... so had to get a new opener.. the one that was in there came with the house in 1978 i think, the remotes did not work half the time anyway....
We had a FIRE in my oven the day after Thanksgiving, threw baking soda on it right away, it had been smoking badly and was watching it so was able to get it right off.... took a job to get the thing cleaned tho, and it did not touch the enamel of the interior, ran a cleaning cycle after cleaned out the gunk and everything went well. It really scared Brian, he took me in his arms and hugged me, said i needed to pay more attention... hahaha, I WAS that was why the house did not burn down. but it was sweet he cared.
Yesterday spent day with friend Tanya and we went to our annual shopping trip in Bend and ate lunch at iconic Pine Tavern. Mom and i used to go there every year at xmas for lunch and have mince pie with hot rum sauce, they no longer serve that!!! But the memories are strong. Tanya has strong ties to Mom too, so it is special to get to spend that special time with her.
I have ALL my xmas DONE.... cards made and sent, packages on the way to different parts of the country. Tree up, lights on outside.. Christmas is bursting out all over the place here in Redmond, Oregon!!!
We have had, cold, cold weather, some freezing fog in places, not right here yet, look forward to that. Mt B was able to open certain runs, but not all i think, the snow has been very slow in coming.
I even got my 1st xmas card!!! Friend Patty in Iowa is always jolly on the spot, haha....
Hope you all have a Blessed Christmas, Take Care and God Bless
Sounds like a busy time at your place!
