HA!!! Luci n me!
Well going with brother and sister-in-law to So Cal to pick up Bonnie Bounder.. She did NOT sell, so am bringing her home and the fam can use her as they need. You know she only has 45,000 miles on her and one would think that would be a good deal. but 1995 is a loooong time ago and she is definately dated.... but has new batteries and tires.. roof has been re-done, whatever that means.... and everything works... but there was just no interest and she has been down there 4 years!!!! time sure does fly by... not much to say about that.
SO... we are driving down and then they are driving her back and i am going even further south than where she is to spend Thanksgiving with my niece, which will be a change and fun. Don't know exactly know what we will be doing... or where i will stay the next two nights but will figure it out on the fly...
One thing, we are leaving at 8p tonight, right.... never done that before, but brother drives log truck and sister-in-law drives cattle hither and yon and was a long haul driver for 5 years so they are accustomed to driving at weird hours. Says there is less traffic and no need to stop to eat ... well, i think you would eat when you were awake, but what do i know.. AND it has started to snow in the mtns where we are headed, BUT they say no worries, will just take chains.... really??? but i guess putting chains on an RV would be nothing after putting chains on a loaded (80,000#) log truck!!!
So i am headed off for an adventure (Luci is staying home with the son, which one will be more traumatized i don't know!) Maybe i will have some stories to tell...
Take Care and God Bless All
4 years! seems less time than that. Be safe on the roads and enjoy the journey
ReplyDeleteYes! I want to hear your stories!
ReplyDeleteWow!! I thought you sold that a long time ago. Travel safe.
ReplyDeleteThat is a long trip. I would have thought it would sell. We already have 74K on our 2012 Winnie View and the Meridian we had for full timing had 50K in 6 years. So that is a low milage rig with everything working!
