Drip, drip, drip

This is before picture, old, old faucet that leaks ALL the time... one night the thing in the sink got closed, trap? and when i got up the next morning the sink was almost FULL.  that brought to home that i needed to do something with this problem!!  The sink in utility room also leaked.... and both outside faucets...
SOOOO called a plumber, was advised to buy my own new faucet, as women like to pick out things themselves....
So to Lowe's i took myself...AND that place was FULL.. i have found a place where there are LOTS of people.. well Costco was full too, and line to get in!!
But i found a guy to help me and turns out that yes, i can get a cool fish hook faucet!! that pulls down.  It was so hard to wash the crockpot in the sink with that itty bitty faucet and no room to turn things about.. and i was tired of the trying.. SO.  got a cool faucet!!! Had an appointment with a plumber, he came today....

Prior to the plumber coming tho, i had to clean out under the sink!!!! Well, yes, who do you know keeps that space cleaned out, huh??? not me... and low and behold, there had been a leak!!! not a HUGE one, but enough to make a mess of some of the things under there. and it was dusty....  But had barely got it cleaned and here he was, early.... thank heavens i had gotten that done...
Told him about the unexpected leak and showed him the other things... then i went and sat, and watched TV, read paper, while he worked away and RAN back and forth to his truck
He was really the nicest guy.  and put up with Luci nosing about to see what was going on, but NO, do not touch me.  and she took exception to him being in the utility room, but figured that out, as that is where i keep her milk bones, under the sink there.  So picked her up and took her to sit with me and she settled down :)
It is so nice to sit here and not hear the sink drip, which had gotten quite loud, if i can hear it!!!

Here is the silver pipe that is new and that white connection is new too, to the disposal, where the new found leak was...

So glad that is all done... and the outside faucets work good too.  i am going to be saving SO much water, which is a good thing as they still need to irrigate those golf courses........
