He is doing this project in the side yard where the garden will go... hopefully. i DO like planting a garden and then resulting bounty, the tomatoes, my goodness, BUT just refuse to feed the deer! So still need a fence...
We will see.
He says he is doing this so i don't trip and fall down. ... ??? these are just set here and need to be SET into the ground yet, which will take a couple days...
He laid these all out in a couple hours... there was close to 3,000# of flagstone.... he carried them all into placement...
moved them about and walked back and forth to get just the 'right' placement..
Think he has an eye for how things fit together...
then he watered them, cleaning off the mud that as attached... also brings out the color, which was really pretty. they match the border rocks that we placed a couple years ago... He knew just what he wanted when we went to the 'rock' place, so it was easy to pick out between a couple of colors... there was a peachy one he really wanted, but then decided it would not match with what we already have going with the other rocks about the place...

Went for my walk, have been doing pretty well in getting out each day... BUT only go around my block. which is not all that far, but ALOT further than when i first started!!!!
Made another batch of my small batch choco chip cookies, put walnuts in them this time too. turned out really goooood..
the poppies have started blooming... they always look so happy... bobbing in the wind.
Just put Luci out again, she is ever hopeful that i will give her a treat EVERYTIME she goes outside to pee.... no, that does not happen, but she continually expects it!!!
woke up a couple days ago, just sweating.... 1st thought was, oh, no!!! I have IT.... no, no, i had on flannel jammers, AND a sweatshirt and had a down comforter over.... once i took some of those clothes off, got into something cotton and short... was ok... :) Must of warmed up during the night too.. Also the little puppers insists on being right smack against me, so there is that heat too!!
Noticed when walking most times the wind comes from the north and a little chill, and one or two days, it was from the south and much warmer...
tree leaves popping out everywhere...
