HOT< HOT< HOT

 Am babysitting this summer, helping out my niece, so she can work.. an get to go to the "farm" in Sisters, way out in country, BUT they have AC, which is GREAT as we got up to 117 yesterday, yep, it has been HOT and some days , it seems to not really cool down all that much at night.. got to 90 INSIDE the house and the fans just swirled that heat about, so you had wind in your hair but not much coolness!!! and the garden is wilty and water is at a premium around here... AND we are not in August yet, that is always our hot month....

We are having the Desch Co Fair after missing last year,  NO fireworks tho of any kind, except they are still lighting them off the Butte in Bend and at the fairgrounds in Redmond, which just seems to be  taking chances, but they did not ask me..Have been doing all the things that i normally do, and also sitting in a stupor, sweating.. starting a new afghan as i seem to be obsessed.. Got some Harry Potter Legos for the girls and that was sort of cool, maybe i can get one of those really neat ones and put it together, they are really the puzzle, but seemed as if some of them just did not fit.. what is with that anyway.... swear, tried everywhich way and nope, did not fit.  I have always been sort of drawn towards toys... some of them are so very neat.  But still have my projects i have to finish and will never read all the books i would like to, and they keep coming out All. The. Time. with new ones....

Luci doing well, i put a hand towel in cold, cold water and lay it over the top of her or put it on the bed so she can lay her tummy on it.. Cool off her paws and ears... she is not really too excited about going outside and puts up with my cooling efforts
