 Not much going on. Went to cemetery and decorated.  Grandma always called it Decoration Day... Today all the large flags were out in Redmond.. up and own the main street and at the cemetery. always looks so very patriotic...

We have had a couple of good rains. but keep in mind that our 'rain' lasts for about 10 min at the most. and NOT all day like in some places... but it does green things up and don't have to water for a couple days.  and there has been WIND.  Brian got up into the 4 backyard trees, by ladder and climbing and thinned out many branches that he could get to with large loppers, so did not have the limbs come down that normally have in WIND... we have no saw.. put out marigolds and something is eating them, they are sticks! with very few leaves left, so do not hold out much hope for marigolds this year. zucchini is leafing out tho.. have sprays things for bugs... to no avail. Brian made a butt pork roast and we have had pulled pork sandwiches the last two days, it was sooooo good.. and there is still LOTS left! finished afghan i was making, have to get more yarn, like the 'cupcake' yarn it is  a lighter weight and makes a nice lap blanket, good for napping in the chair!!!  Reading and watching TV.  Watched 'Night Sky' w/ Sissy Spacek, it was good, interesting, but left every story line and there were like 4-6 different things up in the air and never did find out what was really happening... sooooo hopefully there is a season two,  it was on Netflix, so who knows, when or if.... i try watching the Limited Serial so you know it has an end and is not going on and on.. season ones... well you just never know...  Starting a Ken Follett 'A Place Called Freedom" 2001... there are so many of his books that i have not yet gotten to. and i like his writing, mostly to the point, but good character... Ever since Eye of the Needle, which i learned was his 1st novel, i have liked him and his Pillars of the Earth series was very good, if you like epic gothic novels that go on and on.. think there were 3 in that series, building of a church that took centuries..... haha, read back over this, well this is about how my mind works, on to this and that and forwards and back....

Feel so bad for Uvalde.. and what about the Ukraine??? want to still know what else is going on...
