This is her fav place! just curls up.. we have been having a hard time, it is so very hot. am sure it is hotter in some places!!! I know, BUT it is hot here, SO glad i invested in that AC. going on 3 yrs now, an still working like a champ. I can even leave my bedroom door open with a fan drawing air from living room to cool down and she will not leave my side. even with Robin going to work and Brian coming home... i sleep like i am drugged.. The niece and fam are in the RV at the coast this week and i am driving to Sisters to feed the chickens tues and thurs... i like the eggs, but boy are chickens, icky, poopy... and it is so dry out there.. been watering like crazy, to try to keep things a little green and blooming around here..
Took a drive to the Mt B area saturday, to Sparks Lake and Devils Lake, lots of people out kayaking and just driving around.. Took Friend Carol G to get her out of the house for a short while. See something different.. there were still spots of snow up there in the shade of the trees.. mosquitos were out!!
Had check in with surgery doctor and all looking well, so that is a good thing.. Have lost my appetite tho.. which i guess can be a good thing.. just nothing sounds good.. much less tastes like anything..
Sade sacked out on the couch. AC chugging away, sun is shining.. Life is good
Take Care All and God Bless
Oh, had another painting class, last nite.. this is the result...
hmmmm
Pretty lake pictures !

ReplyDeleteIt is hot almost everywhere. People who live in the southwest are more acclimated to the heat than you guys up north. And you have humidity which we don't deal with except during monsoon. I coukdnt survive without a/c. Oh, to have a pup snuggled up with you. Your painting is wonderful but I really love the last picture of the mountain.
ReplyDeleteWe are in week 3 of scorches with high humidity. Fireworks are making the cats crazy. Strange. it is the first time they have been bothered by the booms. Glad you are recovering well from the surgery.
